Edmonton Practitioner Nurse

Qualified, Experienced Nurses

Our registered nurses (RN/LPN) will review your existing treatment plan and develop a care plan to help you manage your illness and alleviate your pain and suffering.

Nursing Care

  • Assessment and care planning
  • Medication administration
  • Intravenous (IV) therapy
  • Post-surgical care
  • Pain and symptom management
  • Wound care management
  • Management of enteral feedings
  • Health procedures (e.g. tracheostomy care, catheter insertion)
  • Wellness checks, vital signs and monitoring

Registered Nurse (RN)

  • A Registered Nurse (RN) completes a four-year bachelor of nursing degree
  • Has in-depth, broad knowledge in clinical practice and health research
  • May specialize in patient care, working in a hospital, or community clinic
  • Provides care for any type of patient, including complex or unstable conditions

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) completes a two-year nursing degree
  • Has specialized knowledge in patient care to maintain and restore health
  • Can work in short-term care, long-term care, or a community clinic
  • Provides care for patients with stable or predictable states of health
